Presentan un alto contenido magn\u00e9tico y monodispersidad. Bajo la acci\u00f3n de reactivos espec\u00edficos, los abundantes grupos funcionales p-toluenosulfonilo pueden unir covalentemente ligandos biol\u00f3gicos, como prote\u00ednas, a la superficie de las perlas magn\u00e9ticas, logrando as\u00ed una r\u00e1pida separaci\u00f3n y enriquecimiento de las sustancias objetivo de las muestras. Dispersar una cantidad adecuada de biomol\u00e9culas en un tamp\u00f3n de carbonato de pH 8,0, redispersar las perlas magn\u00e9ticas en esta soluci\u00f3n y acoplar a 37 \u00b0C durante 2 horas o 4 \u00b0C durante la noche. Despu\u00e9s del acoplamiento, se absorben magn\u00e9ticamente las perlas, se elimina el sobrenadante, se agrega tamp\u00f3n que contiene 1% BSA, se redispersan las perlas y se acoplan a 25 \u00b0C durante 1 hora para bloquear los grupos p-toluenosulfonilo que no han reaccionado.<br \/>\nDespu\u00e9s del bloqueo, se absorben magn\u00e9ticamente las perlas, se retira el sobrenadante, se lavan las perlas 3 veces con tamp\u00f3n PBS 20 mM de pH 7,4, se redispersan y se almacenan a 4 \u00b0C.
