Epoxy Magnetic Beads
Epoxy magnetic beads have an epoxy group as a functional group on the surface, which can be coupled with proteins or small molecules with primary amines, and can be used for affinity purification of antibodies, antigens and other aspects. Compared with conventional carboxyl and amino magnetic beads, epoxy magnetic beads are characterized by simple operation and mild coupling conditions.
1 Product Overview
Epoxy magnetic beads have an epoxy group as a functional group on the surface, which can be coupled with proteins or small molecules with primary amines, and can be used for affinity purification of antibodies, antigens and other aspects. Compared with conventional carboxyl and amino magnetic beads, epoxy magnetic beads are characterized by simple operation and mild coupling conditions.
2 Product Features
Fast and easy one-step coupling
Low lot-to-lot variation and high reproducibility
Moderate epoxy group density and uniform surface morphology maximize coupling rate.
3 Product parameters
Particle size: 1μm, 3μm, 5μm
Concentration: 50 mg/mL
Storage solution: Isopropyl alcohol
Formulation group: epoxy
Ligand density: ≥250 μmol/g
4 Method of use
Take an appropriate amount of epoxy beads and wash several times with buffer solution of pH 8.0. Disperse the appropriate amount of biomolecules
Disperse the appropriate amount of biomolecules in pH 8.0 buffer and re-dispersed the microspheres in this solution, and coupled at 25℃ for 6 hours or at 4℃ overnight.
The microspheres were coupled for 6 hours at 25°C or overnight at 4°C. At the end of the coupling, the supernatant is magnetically aspirated, discarded, and the microspheres are redispersed by adding buffer containing 20 mM ethanolamine and coupled for 3 hours at 25°C to seal the unreacted epoxy groups. After sealing, magnetic suction, remove the supernatant, wash the microspheres with 20 mM pH 7.4 PBS buffer for three times, and re-dispersed, stored in 4℃ for reserve, if necessary, add 0.02% sodium azide to inhibit the growth of bacteria.
5 Precautions
Shake well before use to obtain a homogeneous suspension of microspheres.
The coupling buffer used for coupling should not contain ammonia, otherwise the coupling efficiency will be affected.
When sealing, select the appropriate buffer solution for sealing according to the needs of the application.
Store at 4℃ for 3 years.
